Turkeys stop traffic by having vicious brawl in middle of road
This is the moment two wild turkeys stopped traffic by having a vicious brawl in the middle of a road.
The video was shot on a quiet Vermont road by Jennifer Hannux, who posted the footage to Twitter on Sunday.
Alongside the footage, Hannux wrote: ‘Why did the turkey cross the road? To pick a fight with its bro. You never know what you’ll drive up on up here.’
The video shows the two turkeys scrapping it out while Hannux and another driver stop their cars to avoid hitting them. The brawl continued as the turkeys jostle for position, pushing each other all over the road.
Eventually, the opposing driver gets out of their car and scares the two birds, who both fly off towards a wooded area.

However, Hannux’s brush with wildlife did not end with the turkeys. Moments later she posts a video of two deer scampering down the road.
‘A quarter mile down the road the deer were dancing around the road,’ Hannux wrote.
‘Nature is pretty woke this morning.’
