I'd like to see how many crosses we have put in to how many have been converted to goals.

I bet you that there have been a lot more crosses put into the box & a lot fewer goals scored from them than you'd think.

It’s a good idea, but I have a better one. Mix and match. Sometimes a long throw (when conditions suit it), and sometimes a short throw to Bela/Jude who then cross.... or occasionally run in towards the box. Long looping throw-ins are relatively straight forward to defend, as is predictability. Variation and an element of surprise are not.
Nothing wrong with a few missile-like, low trajectory throw-ins, particularly if they are aimed far enough away from the keeper.

Exactly this.

If your wide man is consistently putting shit balls in then yeah you probably do stop going that route, and if your long throw taker is constantly putting it on a plate for the ‘keeper then you might want to mix it up a bit.
