Scarlett Moffatt shows off her ‘boobs, hips and cellulite’ as she poses in a swimsuit to promote body positivity
SHE’S overcome cruel body-shaming trolls, and today Scarlett Moffatt has proved she is every inch a real woman – and proud to be.
The TV host , 29, took to Instagram to share a swimsuit selfie which, in her own words, shows off her “boobs, hips and cellulite”.
In the pic, the TV star can be seen wearing a black one-piece and posing in front of mirror.
She wrote next to the snap: “Hi my names Scarlett I have boobs, hips and cellulite but am I gonna stop that from taking a photo and posting it for all to see…… no!! Feeling brave (maybe it’s the Prosecco and fact I’m with the family) #bodyconfidence #love #body.”
Earlier this year Scarlett told us she is still striving to be more confident in herself and doesn’t always feel great when she looks in the mirror.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “I feel I’d be lying to you now if I said ‘wow, I feel great when I look in the mirror.’ Because some days I do and then other days I have a bit of a down day, but I feel that’s every woman.”

The telly star boasts two million followers on Instagram and feels her online popularity means there’s a constant focus on her appearance and in turn, nasty comments.
She continues: “I feel it’s probably emphasised because people can read about it, or I have a few more followers than other people so I get a little bit more negativity.”
However, she’s become someone who other women also reach out to with their own body hang ups, and she wants to use her platform to spread a positive message.
“Sometimes I’ll get messages from women, and I’ve been there myself, where people put things off because they feel they don’t look how society says they should look, this conventional Barbie figure,” she says.
“I’ve had women say they put off holidays because they daren’t be seen around the pool.
“As long as we can send a message you should try and always be positive. That isn’t realistic you should never let how you look affect your day to day life.
“I always say beach ready all you need is sun tan cream and a body [laughs].”
Scarlett recently teamed up with High Street brand Peacocks for its upcoming Spring Summer Collection which aims to provide stylish clothes for women of all sizes.
One item in particular item reflects the message Scarlett is keen to convey: a Be Kind print tee.
Speaking of the collection, she says: “It was important to me to make sure the edit was inclusive to every woman, no matter what size or shape and I was so happy to work with Peacocks to make this happen.”
In 2016 Scarlett slimmed down to a size eight, dropping six dress sizes and three stone in weight.
She admitted the gruelling gym workouts were too time consuming to keep up and she has since embraced a curvier figure.
Last year she took a stand against online bullies who targeted her during an appearance on Love Island Aftersun.
Sharing a picture from the show on social media, she defiantly wrote: “I used to avoid this photo it would upset me because even thinking about this moment where I got trolled for the way I looked reminded me of the state of depression it sent me in to the point where I didn’t even want to leave the house!” she shared on Instagram.
“But I don’t think that looking at this photo now! NOW I see a young girl living her best life appearing on a show she loves, showing off her best assets and her curves.”
But she was reduced to tears in October after receiving a nasty letter comparing her to a pork chop.
She expressed her hurt at the time and urged people to be kinder.
