VIDEO: Steve Bergwijn claims February goal of the month for Manchester City strike

Steve Bergwijn has won Tottenham’s February goal of the month award for his stunning debut strike against Manchester City.

The 22-year-old Dutchman earned 42 per cent of the votes, narrowly edging out Heung Min Son for his stoppage-time winner against Aston Villa two weeks later.

Toby Alderweireld was the next closest on the list, but Bergwijn’s superb volley that set Spurs on their way to a memorable victory against Pep Guardiola’s men deservedly won.
