Head Coach Phil Smith’s Comments on selection and the match

There are a few changes from our last match against Watsonians. Callum Marshall and Ronan Seydak are a straight swap for Adam Sinclair and Charlie Jupp in the second row. Ross Jones moves to 10 for Stuart Edwards, who is unavailable, while Robert Kay and Rory McMichael make a timely return from injury.

With Watsonian’s and Southern Knights playing Saturday we’ll know what the result will mean with regard to the play offs. However, firstly we know we need to win to get a home play-off semi final.

Our last fixture was a tough contest that, ultimately, was lost by our high penalty count. If we can be better disciplined and continue to be accurate in our attack I am hopeful of giving a resurgent Ayrshire Bulls a full 80 minute contest.
