Promoted at a young age by Willie Bell I think. Winger who I thought was going to be top drawer. He could take on a fullback with skill and pace and was a good crosser of the ball.
It was obvious that he was fundamentally an attacker but he was obviously told/coached that he had to track back which ruined his natural game which was to run onto a forward pass.
Gradually lost his form and was never seen again. Great pity for Blues supporters and him that such an exciting prospect was coached out of the game.
