Gossip Girl: Ranking The Friends    | ScreenRant

0

The main characters on Gossip Girl were, of course, Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, Dan Humphrey, and Nate Archibald. While this group had their ups and downs and breakups and makeups, they were like a family and would do anything for one another.

They had a few other friendships over the years, too, and there were some supporting characters who hung out with some other pals on the show, as well. That being said, it is time to rank the friends on this teen drama… the people who were there to support the main characters… until they weren’t.

10 Poppy Lifton

Poppy Lifton was a socialite that Serena knew. Since she was not in high school, she looked down on any of the childish things that Serena did, which eventually led to S bailing on Blair during fashion week.

Things got worse, though: It turned out that Poppy was working with Gabriel in order to scheme everyone, including the parents, out of money!

9 Agnes Andrews

Agnes Andrews was a model that Jenny met while working for Eleanor Waldorf. Jenny was younger than the main characters, she wanted to be a queen bee/fashion designer, and she really lost her way.

Along that sad journey, she became friends with Agnes. The two were supposed to start a fashion brand together, but they were not seeing eye-to-eye on things. Therefore, Agnes turned on Jenny and lit all of her handmade clothes on fire.

8 Damien Dalgaard

Damien Dalgaard was not a nice guy. He knew Serena from their boarding school days, and he came to town, bringing trouble. The main way he hurt central characters was when he roped Jenny into helping him with drug business.

This was during her rebellious stage, right before she really broke down and left town. He just was not good news for anyone.

7 Georgina Sparks

Georgina Sparks used to be good friends with Serena, but when she popped back up again, Serena had changed; she was dating Dan, she was drinking less, and she was trying to make healthy choices.

From drugging S and stirring the pot between actual friends to lying to Dan about having his baby and the whole fiasco with Pete Fairman, Georgina was another who brought about too much drama… and not the good kind.

6 Kati Farkas & Isabel Coates

Kati Farkas and Isabel Coates were two of Blair’s minions in school, and they were best friends. They were always seen trailing behind their Queen B, they were always dressed alike, and they did not seem to know how to think or act for themselves.

This may have made them faithful friends (or servants), but they were not really nice people.

5 Hazel Williams

Another one of the high school minions was Hazel Williams.

On one hand, she was part of this mean girl group. However, she was shown speaking her mind and speaking up at times, which is more than could be said about some of these girls.

4 Jessica Leitenberg

When Blair was at Columbia, she got some new followers, including Jessica Leitenberg.

This girl was bright, bold and bubbly, and she proved herself over and over to Blair, whether she was out gathering intel on someone or fighting to be a bridesmaid. While she may have not been a true bestie, she was loyal!

3 Penelope Shafai

Blair’s main minion seemed to be Penelope Shafai, who was seen in high school and beyond. Obviously, she wanted popularity, and she knew that being part of Blair’s little club would get her that.

However, unlike some others on this list, she was pretty, smart and from a powerful family, so she definitely had her own interests, values, and goals.

2 Vanessa Abrams

There were some friends who were not completely rude, who were not just followers and who did not do things like steal money or burn clothes. Yes, one of the best friends on the show, outside of the main group, was Vanessa Abrams.

Her and Dan went way back, and she was not a fan of the Upper East Side. Still, she got swept up in it, making enemies and even dating/hooking up with these main men. Things changed, and she and Dan were not as close by the end, but in the beginning, she was an actual pal.

1 Dorota Kishlovsky

The best bud on this series, though, was Dorota Kishlovsky. She was Blair’s maid, but she was more than that; she was there when B’s parents weren’t, so she was like family, and she was always around with advice, support and more, making her a true friend to Blair and to others!

Plus, despite working and spending time in this attractive and affluent world, she remained true to herself, she found true love, and she displayed authenticity and kindness from the beginning to the end. That can't be said about anyone else in this story.
