Woman dies in crash off Highway 183 in northern Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said a woman died in a crash off U.S. Highway 183 in the northern part of the county on Saturday afternoon.

A sheriff’s office spokeswoman said the crash in the 1800 block of County Road 221 in Florence happened around 2 p.m.

The woman was 34-years-old, a spokeswoman said.

The road was closed in between Highway 183 and CR 221, but has since reopened.
