Trump Holds Coronavirus Briefing After Defending Protests Of Stay-At-Home Orders
President Trump and the White House coronavirus task force are scheduled to hold a briefing at 5 p.m. ET. Trump defended protesters defying stay-at-home orders in Michigan, Minnesota and Virginia during last night’s briefing. The President also spent his Saturday afternoon slamming Democrats, who he accused of only responding to “RUDE and NASTY” reporters, in a series of tweets.
It’s currently unclear if Vice President Mike Pence will participate in tonight’s briefing — he spent most of today in Colorado for an Air Force commencement ceremony.
