Sugababes star Mutya Buena shocks fans by appearing to roll a joint during Instagram Live
SUGABABES singer Mutya Buena has shocked fans by appearing to roll a joint during an Instagram Live chat with her bandmate Keisha Buchanan.
The tattooed pop star, who made a comeback with Keisha and Siobhan Donaghy last year, had promised followers a singing session with her pal.

But as the two harmonised on a series of tracks, Mutya could be seen asking a friend: “Pass my box, please.”
She then rolled a dubious-looking cigarette.
Keisha looked incredulous and tried to carry on regardless, before adding: “I’d say we should sing Toni Braxton, You’re Makin’ Me High, but . . . ”
Some of the 100 fans watching the stream called out Mutya, with one saying: “Roll that zoot!” Another added: “I’d love to smoke one with Mutya.”
The pair thrilled fans last year by announcing a Sugababes reunion with third original member Siobhan[/caption]
The pair, both founding members of the chart-topping girl band, thrilled fans last year by announcing a reunion with third original member Siobhan.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, they confirmed the release of new music in 2020 to mark 20 years since debut album One Touch.
The Sugababes were once dubbed pop’s most turbulent group due to their ever-changing line-up.
But the girls appeared to put their troubles behind them, even regaining the Sugababes name after a rights issue.
Heidi Range joined Mutya and Keisha in the girl group after Siobhan’s departure[/caption]
As the clip shows, however, Mutya still has a knack for scoring headlines.
The star, who was only 13 when the Sugababes started, recorded three albums with the group — first with Siobhan and Keisha, then with Heidi Range as the third member.
Mutya announced her departure in December 2005 and Amelle Berrabah was drafted in to replace her.
Meanwhile, Mutya continued to make music, releasing solo debut Real Girl in 2007 and working with Amy Winehouse, Groove Armada and George Michael.
Mutya continued to make music after leaving the band but was declared bankrupt in 2014[/caption]
But due to poor record sales, she was eventually dropped from her label.
And after a first attempt to reunite the original Sugababes under the name MKS fell flat in 2012, the singer was declared bankrupt in 2014.
Luckily, the second Sugababe reunion seems to show a bit more promise.
With that in the pipeline, Mutya is doing all she can to keep her spirits high.

Joey’s a d-reem recruit
CELEBRITY SAS contender Joey Essex has told how he wants the show to reveal his “deep layers” – while insisting he is tougher than people think.
The reality TV regular is hoping his bid to survive the SAS training programme will show fans that while he might not have brains, he definitely has brawn.

Joey said: “People see me on TV with my big white teeth and they go, ‘Oh yeah, Joey Essex, he’s stupid’. But I feel like people underestimate who I really am, deep down.
“This is the first show that’s going to show the real deep layer under the skin of Joey Essex.
“Also I hope people will see that I never give up. It doesn’t matter how much pain I’m put through, I never give up on anything.
“My family are all boxers, all fighters, so I’ve been brought up to be tough. People are going to say, ‘F***ing hell, I didn’t realise he was this tough’.”
The reality star hopes the show will prove he ‘never gives up on anything’[/caption]
During the gruelling TV challenge, which starts on Channel 4 at 9pm Monday, fans will see Joey – who took part alongside contestants including Katie Price, Helen Skelton and Brendan Cole – throw himself from a helicopter and fight rivals playing murderball.
But he reckons one of the toughest challenges came when he clashed with the Paralympian athlete Lauren Steadman.
He said: “All she was focused on was, ‘F*** the team, I need to win’. She thought her way was always the best way.
“It didn’t matter what I said, she was always screaming at me. In the end, I’d roll my eyes and keep walking.

“One time I looked at the instructors, they would smile at me as if to say, ‘Oh my God, she’s f***ing being crazy’.
“At one point they said they reckoned Lauren fancied me.
“I was like, ‘No mate, not for me, not for me’.”
Sam's heading in One Direction
Sam Smith has urged One Direction to reform.
The lads have been on hiatus since January 2016 but Sam hopes Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson will reunite to mark ten years since they formed.
Sam said on SiriusXM: “They should do it . . . and soon. It’d look odd if they’re, like, 60 and doing it.”
Tour to go extra Miley
MILEY Cyrus will release her new album at the end of this year, I can reveal.
She Is Miley Cyrus was due last year but was pushed back after the singer needed surgery to repair her voice. Sources now insist it will see the light of day in 2020.

Even better for fans, Miley is planning a huge European and US tour to promote the record.
A source told me: “This has been a long time coming so there was no chance of it slipping out quietly.
“We want to make as big a splash as possible. We’ll be pulling out all the stops.”
Thanks are due to Miley – whose name this week became unfortunate slang online for coronavirus – for giving us something to look forward to.
Sharon's feeling balmy
SHARON Osbourne made it very clear how she wanted to look with her latest facelift:
“Like I’ve had a lot of sleep. In a tomb. Embalmed.”
Ash will be ready
ASHLEY Roberts does her bit to cheer up Pussycat Dolls fans in lockdown – by posing in this eye-catching bright-red PVC number.
The singer and telly presenter reunited late last year with bandmates Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberley Wyatt, JEessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar.
But the reformed Dolls saw the opening stages of their comeback tour postponed amid the coronavirus crisis.
This snap proves audiences have plenty to look forward to when the rescheduled tour finally gets under way.
It’s nice to see a celebrity properly glammed up as we head into three more weeks of pyjamas and jogger bottoms . . .
Model behaviour
NAOMI Campbell has lifted the lid on her friendship with Paris Hilton, revealing how they became pals when Naomi saw the socialite dancing on a table in St Tropez.
The supermodel was looking back on 25 years as chums after welcoming Paris on to her live-stream talk show No Filter With Naomi.
She said: “This was the scene. Everyone comes to tell me, ‘There’s this girl trying to take over your party. She’s on the table’. I’m like, ‘On the table? No! Let me see!’
“So I go over there and I see Paris on the table. I looked at her and I said ‘I love her’. That’s it. And I’ve loved her ever since.”
Paris chipped in: “I invented dancing on tables! That was such an epic night. All of your birthdays are so epic but that was my first birthday with you.”
Naomi added: “After that, we’ve been in Cuba together, we took you to Jamaica to meet my step-father, we were in Hong Kong . . . Ibiza. Every place is such a different experience.” I’d have loved to have been alongside these two on the White Isle.

But Naomi reckons her pal’s party-loving persona isn’t the full story. She said: “When most people feel Paris is drinking ‘another’ glass of champagne, let me tell you – it’s ginger ale”.
How disappointing. Naomi launched her Being Naomi YouTube channel this month to entertain fans.
Guests so far include Cindy Crawford, Marc Jacobs, Nicole Richie, Ashley Graham and Sharon Stone.
Twinnie is a triple threat
FORMER Hollyoaks actress Twinnie is hoping to shake off the soap-star tag.
The singer, who released debut album Hollywood Gypsy on Friday, said: “I don’t think it’s a bad thing to sing, dance and act.
“Judy Garland and Bette Midler were triple threats.”
Liam is BBC Sir
LIAM Payne has signed up to help kids read, as part of a huge education push by the BBC.
The former One Direction singer will join a Big Read session, using his song lyrics in the Beeb’s virtual classroom Bitesize Daily.

From Monday, the BBC will deliver 14 weeks of content on iPlayer and online while the country’s schools are shut.
Man City ace Sergio Aguero will help kids learn in Spanish, telly professor Brian Cox will teach science and Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker will drop in to Bitesize Daily lessons.
Sergio said: “It’s a tough time for children at the moment – and for parents trying to keep them focused on their education from home.”
Jamie a fit too full-on
JAMIE Dornan has been setting his daughters daily fitness challenges while in lockdown in Northern Ireland.
The Fifty Shades actor, whose girls are aged six, four and one, said: “The first day, I had the older two doing circuits.

“They were on their backs, absolutely knackered, and going, ‘No Daddy, I don’t want to train any more.’ I took my foot off the gas since then.”
Jamie added in the podcast interview: “But it is the happiest our kids have ever been, because they’ve got us all the time instead of Daddy going away to work and Mummy going to work.
“It’s unbelievable – although I will still be delighted when they go back to school.”
