Election committee meeting ‘interrupted by hacker who showed porn video of man masturbating’
AN INDIANA election committee zoom meeting was interrupted by a hacker who joined the call to show a porn video of a man masturbating.
The unidentified pest took over the single screen – which was shared by state and county officials – to broadcast the video.
The video played for roughly one minute before the manager of the commission’s online services was able to turn it off and kick the hacker off the call, the Lincoln Journal Star reported.
Paul Okeson, Election Commission chairman, said: “That was sufficiently disturbing.”
Another viewer of the meeting wrote on Twitter: “Most exciting Election Commission meeting ever.”
The practice of interrupting a Zoom video meeting has been dubbed “zoom bombing”.
