Firefighters limit damage to garage at south Austin home

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin firefighters contained a fire in a south Austin garage Saturday afternoon which will allow the house to be reoccupied quickly, according to a tweet from Austin Fire Info.

The cause of fire at Old Manchaca Road was an improper removal of “smoking material”, according to AFD.
