[Men's Basketball] Paris kicks off signees for men's basketball program

The saying "hard work truly pays off" is one that is used often.

However, for a guy who averaged just one point per game as a junior in high school, that phrase can't be overstated enough for Shawn Paris, Jr.

A Louisville, Ky. native, Paris has transformed himself from a player that averaged just over one point per game as a junior in high school to a knockdown shooter who averaged over 11 points per game on 47 percent shooting -- all while playing for one of the more well-respected junior college programs at the NJCAA Division III level.
