Number of coronavirus cases in Indonesia rises to 6,575

JAKARTA

Indonesia on Sunday reported at least 327 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number to 6,575.

According to the latest official data, the death toll in the country rose to 582, as 47 more people died of the virus, while a total of 686 people have recovered so far.

Achmad Yurianto, the government’s spokesman for coronavirus-related matters, said that 47,000 tests have yet been conducted in the country.
