Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom pick up some supplies after grabbing In n Out burgers during virus pandemic
PREGNANT Katy Perry and fiance Orlando Bloom were taking no chances as they ventured out to stock up on supplies for their new arrival dressed in medical face masks and gloves.
The American Idol judge, 35, and the actor, 43, were keeping a low profile as they left Target with two trollies stocked up with goods.
Katy dressed in a matching marbled grey sweatshirt and sweats, that she wore with her hood up over a pink cap.
Her Lord of the Rings beau was dressed equally casually in an all black outfit of sweats and a sweatshirt, as he also covered his head in a black cap, hood and a face mask.
The couple are preparing for their first baby together, and appeared to be stocking up on essentials as they were seen leaving super chain Target on Friday with multiple shopping carts.
The actor accessorized his look with multi-colored sneakers and blue medical gloves.
The couple made sure to protect themselves with medical face masks and gloves as Los Angeles now requires face coverings in public as the coronavirus continues to rage across the country.
The couple matched in casual sweat outfits for their shopping trip that saw them leave the store with carts full of supplies.
Outside of the store, Katy and Orlando stopped for a chat while the mum-to-be put on her gloves.
As they loaded up their black SUV, Katy got close to the British actor as she seemed to lift up his sweatshirt to reveal his chiseled abs.
Having peek in their shopping trolleys, it seems their new buys include multiple wicker baskets, a small cooler, a body board, and some board games.
Katy and Orlando hit the store after grabbing some burgers from fast food staple In-n-Out, which has closed the insides of restaurants due to the coronavirus, but still accessible via an extra long drive-thru line.
Earlier this month Katy took to social media earlier to reveal the gender of the couple’s first child.
The duo, who have been together since 2016, posted a snapshot of Orlando with what appears to be pink shaving cream all over his smiling face.
He wrote with the photo, “girls run the world,” while the mother-to-be said, “It’s a girl,” along with pink heart emojis.
Katy is reportedly naming her baby girl after her late grandmother, Ann Pearl Hudson, who passed away last month days after the pregnancy was announced.
Just four days after she revealed she was expecting her first baby with fiancé Orlando Bloom, the pop star shared the heartbreaking news Ann had died at the age of 99.
An insider told The Naughty but Nice with Rob podcast that Katy plans to name her daughter “Pearl or Hudson or Ann.”
The source continued about the inspiration: “It was Katy’s grandmother that made Katy the woman and the fighter that she is today.
“Katy believes that it is no coincidence that as her granny’s soul leaves the earth, another soul arrives.”
Their daughter will be the first child for Katy and second for Orlando – who is already dad to 9-year-old son Flynn who he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Ann was well known amongst the star’s fans after she appeared in Part Of Me – Katy’s 2012 documentary – and was a regular on the red carpet throughout the years.

On March 9, the Never Really Over songstress announced to fans her beloved grandma had died the week after she dropped her baby news.
I don’t know when a soul enters a new vehicle but if there is an afterlife where there’s a waiting room of the coming and going my mind wonders if the soul that is waiting to come into my world is getting a kiss on the forehead from my sweet Grandma that departed this earth yesterday.
“My heart hopes so,” she said in the lengthy tribute on Instagram.
Katy continued to her 93 million followers: “A lot of what I am is because of my father…
“And he is because of her. She started it all, as she used to remind us and I’m so grateful she did.”
