Military Situation In Libya On April 19, 2020 (Map Update)

A brief overview of the recent developments in Libya:

• An intense fighting between Government of National Accord (GNA) forces and the Libyan National Army (LNA) is ongoing near Tarhunan. Despite initial gains, the GNA failed to capture the area;
• According to pro-GNA sources, over 100 LNA members, and up to 10 pieces of military equipment were captured by GNA fighters;
• GNA forces allegedly shot down an UAV operated by the LNA over Abu Grain;
• The LNA shelled Mitiga Airport with rockets.
