Even off the pitch it is doable imo.

Take the County Championship for example, it's hardly well attended anyway so you can allow a crowd albeit reduced to comply with 'social distancing' measures. Politely ask people to wear facemasks and stay hygienic especially with your hands. On the pitch, make sure all players and umpires are tested during the four days.

Obviously it's more difficult for Test matches and 20/20 as these are more well attended so they'd most likely have to be behind closed doors. But even then, the games can still go ahead.
