Thief hurls disgusting racist abuse at police officer
Police have released a shocking of the arrest of a prolific thief in Sheffield, in which the suspect launched a verbal assault at the arresting officer.
Dominic Denham, 50, who is homeless, was subsequently convicted of two counts of racially aggravated threatening behaviour towards police, as well as a further count of threatening behaviour and shoplifting.
The , captured by an officer's bodycam, shows Denham initially appearing to hide from police in a bush.
He is then restrained by officers and read his rights.
However, before police can put him the back of a waiting van he launches a verbal tirade.
South Yorkshire Police bleeped out the worst language before releasing the .
They posted the on social media with the message: "Denham is now serving an 18 week custodial sentence at Her Majesties pleasure.
