Joe Wicks returns to ‘PE teacher’ workouts – but fans call for wife Rosie to come back

JOE Wicks fans were overjoyed to see the trainer was back for his daily YouTube PE lessons – but loads demanded Rosie comes back too.

The former glamour girl stood in for her Body Coach husband as he recovered from surgery on a broken hand.

With Rosie taking over the lessons, Joe and Indie ran riot on the videos – but he promised it was straight up fitness on his Thursday instalment.

He told the viewers at the start: “No music, no messing about, just straight up fitness exercises.”

Joe also revealed he couldn’t put weight on his wrist for a few weeks, but otherwise could exercise.

Fans were craving their daily dose of Rosie, with one person saying: “WHERES ROSIE [sic.]” and another chanting “ROSIE ROSIE ROSIE”.

Another added: “Morning Joe! Good to have you back although we loved Rosie!”

A fourth paid their respects with: “Good to see you healthy again. Massive respect to Rosie for all she does to support you and your commitment to P.E. with Joe. You have a great family!”

Rosie’s final session managed to descend into chaos when the couple’s 22-month-old daughter, Indie, ran riot during the workout.

Joe and Rosie tried everything to distract Indie, from treats to toys, before she was incorporated into the session with Joe using the tot as a weight while Rosie was doing a plank.

The pair’s combined classes have been a hit, racking up more than 1.4 million viewers on Monday.

The Body Coach star initially had minor surgery for his injured hand in March and until last month, he had been wearing his arm in a bandage following an operation where wires were put in.

YouTube star Joe posted footage of his entire journey into hospital over the weekend, from arriving at the surgical centre to sneaking out to the local Sainsbury’s to pick up supplies.

He shared that online too, revealing his hospital snacks laid out on his bed, including a Mars Ice Cream and slab of dark chocolate.
