WWE legend Stephanie McMahon reveals first time Triple H kissed her and how it gave her ‘butterflies’ before marriage
STEPHANIE MCMAHON has revealed how she was left with “butterflies” after Triple H surprised her with a first kiss on the lips in front of the world.
The two are now the power couple of WWE in their respective roles of Chief Brand officer and Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy and Development.
Their relationship began as an on-screen storyline marriage back in 2000 but soon the fireworks between the two would turn it into a real-life romance.
And after getting the green light from WWE boss Vince McMahon to wed his daughter for real, HHH and Stephanie tied the knot in Sleepy Hollow, New York on October 25, 2003.
Triple H recently celebrated his 25-year anniversary with the company and starred in the latest “WWE Untold” documentary as it looked at his epic matches against Mick Foley at Royal Rumble 2000 and No Way Out 2000.
And it was during this that Stephanie admitted how she was taken aback as The Game planted one on her lips for the very first time at ringside on his way out at Madison Square Garden.
The 43-year-old said: “I walked Triple H out in the entrance way and he kissed me.
“That was the first time he had ever actually kissed me on the lips, and it kind of took me back because I knew it was in character but was it really in character?
“I kind of had the butterfly moment.”
After working so closely together on the road, the love blossoming between them so turned into a genuine relationship.
The happy couple now have three daughters: Aurora Rose Levesque (born 2006), Murphy Claire Levesque (born 2008), and Vaughn Evelyn Levesque (born 2010).

Speaking last year, she said: “My eldest daughter has already started training and I would encourage them to follow their passion and whatever they believe in as long as they work hard at it.
“I believe in a strong work ethic and I believe they can do anything in the world they want to do but they are going to have to believe in themselves and work hard.”
