Cancer-stricken girl, 4, who stole Britain’s hearts by kissing dad through window in lockdown finally reunited with him
THE little girl who is stricken with cancer has been reunited with her dad, after she captured the nation’s hearts kissing him through a window.

Mila was going through chemotherapy for a rare form of leukaemia when the lockdown was introduced and her dad had to keep on working.
The family made the tough decision seven weeks ago that he would move out of their home in Falkirk, Scotland, in order to protect Mila from any risk of catching the virus.
So as to keep contact with her, he would go home every day and stand in the garden with the door slightly ajar so he could see her smile.
Mum Lynda, 36, shared a heartbreaking photo of Mila kissing her dad through the window in a bid to highlight the importance of social distancing.
Now Scott, 50, has been furloughed by his employers and has stopped working.
Following that he went into isolation and has now been given the all-clear to move back home.
He kept the news from Mila though so he could surprise her.
The heart-warming footage shows Scott walking through the door to Mila’s obvious delight.
SURPRISE REUNION
During the time Scott was staying away from home, it was down to mum Lynda to take Mila for her chemotherapy sessions, which caused the daughter to lose her hair and her immune system.
Mila had been taken to see her GP in November last year and was later found to have acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Making the family’s troubles even worse was the news Lynda lost her grandmother during the lockdown, who tested positive for the coronavirus.
Lynda’s photo quickly went viral after it was shared in March and even got the support of Mila’s favourite celebrities, Ant and Dec, who sent the little girl a message of support.
Now the Geordie duo have sent an invitation to the family to come and see a show when the lockdown restrictions are lifted.
When the photo was taken, Lynda said: “I hope the picture makes people realise the importance of self-distancing and stop ignoring the guidelines.
“It is difficult for us all but the longer people go out, the longer we will have to stay indoors and Mila is missing her daddy and sister.
“She feels anxious at bedtime knowing her dad and sister are not home, but his visits at the window make her happy.
“Despite everything that is going on, she remains a happy and funny little girl who jokes with her dad when he comes.
“She asks ‘are you here to drop off the supplies?’
“They put their arms outstretched for an ‘air hug’ and blow kisses through the window.”
Thousands of families across the nation have been temporarily torn apart because of the self-isolating restrictions imposed.
Natalie Francis had to leave her son, Jamie, behind in Wuhan where she had been working as an English teacher back in January because he had a Chinese passport despite being a British citizen.
