Genius woman reveals how to make Starbucks’ iconic strawberries and cream frappuccino drink at home this summer
BRITS love nothing more than a bowl of strawberries and cream for summer – or, even better, the delicious pairing blitzed up into a Starbucks’ frappuccino.
While the iconic ice-cool drink from the coffee chain may currently be off limits due to the UK’s coronavirus lockdown, all is not lost thanks to one genius woman.
In a post on Facebook group ‘Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK’, a social media user called Aimee revealed how she had come up with an at-home version of the popular summer beverage.
The woman shared pictures showing her recreation of the pink-coloured best-seller that appeared to be identical to the real deal.
Revealing her recipe, she explained: “If anyone’s missing their Starbucks or McDonald’s frappe these taste the same as Starbucks’ strawberries and cream.
“Fill blender with ice. Add 10 teaspoons of strawberry Nesquik milkshake powder.

“Add 100ml of double cream. Top up with milk. Blend for around 30 seconds. Top with spray cream. Serves 2.”
Her post went down very well with grateful Starbucks fans who left more than 300 ‘likes’.
One person commented: “Tried and loved. Thank you.”
Another wrote: “Tried this morning, is so good.”

A third shared: “Omg I do this. I also add a little scoop of vanilla ice cream. Its divine.”
And a fourth added: “I love this.”
It comes after a chef revealed how to make Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough ice-cream at home.
Even better, it will cost you a fraction of what a normal £4.50 tub will set you back.
