Inside Hollyoaks real-life couple Adam Woodward and Sophie Porley’s incredible home with velvet sofa and salt lamp
HOLLYOAKS stars Adam Woodward and Sophie Porley have given fans a sneak peek into their seriously trendy flat.
The couple – who are best known for playing Ellie Nightingale and Brody Hudson on the E4 show – moved into the stunning home together last year.
Sophie – who quit the soap in 2018 – shared on Instagram in October: “Moved into my new flat this weekend. We have no sofa, no bed, pretty much nothing else expect a few wooden chopping boards, vases, dried lavender sprigs and some plants.”
Since then, the couple have worked wonders – turning it into a perfectly on-trend pad.
Sharing a glimpse of their living room with fans, the couple showed off their love of modern textiles and patterns as they sat on the green velvet sofa.
The comfortable couch, which is adorned with various plush pillows and throws, takes centre stage in the room as a huge mirror hangs overhead.
Other touches include a glass coffee table with gold detailing, a white shelving unit with whicker baskets and a shabby-chic rug.
Meanwhile, their bedroom is the perfect spot for the co-stars to relax together.
Complete with a recycled timber bed frame, the room not only offers plenty of light but also boasts mismatch bedside tables and a soft pink salt lamp, as well as showing off their love for cute flower arrangements.
Captioning the photo on Instagram, Adam wrote: “Thank god we managed to get our bed sorted from @bensonsforbedshq before lockdown or we’d still have a mattress on the floor.
“It’s made from old pine shipping palettes and recycled timber so doing our bit to be sustainable.”
Sophie, who is now in partnership with Starling Bank after posting one of their bank cards on their bedside table on Instagram, revealed it took them four months to choose a bed frame, adding: “I wanted our bedroom to have a tree house vibe and be friendly to the planet. Just need a painting above the bed and more plants and I think we set.”
Their contemporary kitchen boasts white fittings throughout with glossy kitchen units and marble worktops.
Injecting the sleek space with her their own jungle vibe aesthetic, the couple have added a number of plants and velvet stools.

Small details including glass tubs, chic overhanging bulbs and a wooden chopping board add to the trendiness of the space.
Meanwhile, the hallway makes the ideal space for Sophie to grab a selfie with the help of a huge mirrored wardrobe.
The actress is often seen snapping her daily outfits in hallway of her home.
Adam joined the cast of Hollyoaks for the Ibiza special episodes back in 2017, while Sophie started in 2015 and quickly became a firm favourite with fans before quitting.
