Admissions of separation anxiety for the shop were sparked on Twitter by unlikely fan Holly Hagan.

In a very relatable post, the Georgie Shore star, 27, wrote: “Anyone else really desperate for the big @Primark shop.

“Need my pyjama fix and £1 thong fix.”

It clearly struck a chord with her 1.6m followers, and has received more than 57,000 ‘likes’.

The Geordie Shore star shared how she was feeling on Twitter – and thousands agreed[/caption]

Many social media users rushed to agree with her that not being able to access the store’s famously-low priced product lines – particularly since they don’t offer online delivery – had been tough during the pandemic.

One person wrote: “First trip after lockdown.”

Another commented: “Desperate is an understatement.”

A third shared: “Real tears.”

And a fourth added: “I can’t wait.”

Many noted that it was the small things they missed most.

One person wrote: “I wish they would do online care packages… New PJs, underwear, socks, eye mask, all nice girlie things.”

Another commented: “Literally these two things! £6 night essentials Disney PJs and 3 strings for 2 quid. Need it.”

Holly shared that she loves her Primark nightwear so much she has sets from before Geordie Shore series one started in 2011, and is in the habit of doing one big shop at the chain a year.

Primark – who closed their 189 nationwide branches in March – themselves replied to her post, reassuring her: “We miss you Holly! Hopefully we can see each other soon. Have a nice day.”

She simply responded: “I’ll pray.”

The store also confirmed to one fan that they had “no plans” to launch an online shop.

They have previously revealed this is because they wouldn’t be able to keep product costs down for shoppers.

In other fashion news, we told you where all the celebs get their lockdown loungewear.

We also revealed how a woman was left horrified when she tried on a PrettyLittleThing bikini and discovered the bottoms barely covered her privates.

And this is how to wear comfy culottes whatever your body shape.
