Pundit suggests Mourinho could sign Premier League winger and turn him into a wing-back

Former Leeds United forward Noel Whelan believes Jose Mourinho could employ Ryan Fraser as a full-back amidst reports that Tottenham wish to sign the Bournemouth star.

Despite failing to recreate the terrific form he showed last season at the Vitality Stadium, Fraser is still reportedly on the shopping list of Spurs, Arsenal and Everton (9 min).

Fraser’s contract with the Cherries runs out in the summer and links with Tottenham have intensified over the past couple of weeks.

Football Insider claim that the Scotland international has told his friends that he wants to move to Spurs.

Whelan believes that Jose Mourinho could use Fraser as a wing-back and that the Bournemouth’s star had the attributes to thrive in the role.
