UK coronavirus death hits 30,459 after 383 more patients die in hospital in England including healthy 28-year-old
THE UK coronavirus death toll hit 30,459 as another 383 fatalities were recorded in England hospitals today.
A 28-year-old patient, with no known underlying health conditions, was the youngest victim in the past 24 hours.

In Scotland, a further 59 coronavirus deaths have been recorded since yesterday taking the total number of deaths in the country to 1,762.
Nicola Sturgeon confirmed the lockdown in the country will continue until May 28.
In Wales, another 18 deaths were reported today bringing the total to 1,062. Meanwhile in Northern Ireland, the death toll hit 422 after four more people died.
But some of the lockdowon measures could begin to ease from next week, it was revealed today.
Cafes could re-open and outdoor spaces soon after while park picnics may also be on again, as long as people stay two metres apart.

The relaxation of the coronavirus lockdown is the first of many that the PM plans to roll out week by week to reward long-suffering Brits.
Mr Johnson will unveil his long-awaited “unlockdown” plan on Sunday to gradually end the nation’s virtual house arrest.
The Government is also looking at allowing people to play non-contact sports such as golf and tennis.
One key date the PM is pushing to announce is for a staggered return to schools, with the current target being June 1.

But Britain has been labelled the sick man of Europe as it recorded more coronavirus deaths than any other nation across the continent.
Italy, with the second-highest mortality figure, now has a death toll of 29,684.
Spain and France have the next highest death rates in Europe, at 25,857 and 25,531 respectively.
The US has had more than 72,000 deaths from Covid-19.
In Sweden, a child under ten is among the latest coronavirus victims in Sweden.

Almost half — 1.8million — work in hotels, pubs and restaurants.
The rest are in entertainment, leisure and hospitality industries or personal services, such as hairdressing or beauty.
Ministers are expected to conclude that it is too difficult for most of them to operate under the distancing guidelines.
