Madonna reveals she had coronavirus during her tour in Paris, but thought she had a ‘very bad flu’
MADONNA has revealed she was one of the first people to beat the deadly coronavirus bug which she thought was a “very bad flu”.
The 61-year-old star told fans last week she she has “coronavirus antibodies” – before she left home and partied with pals during lockdown.
And last night she assured her followers she is “not currently sick” as she shared a post on Instagram revealing she was ill during her tour in Paris.
Telling fans she had pledged $1.1 million toward the development of a COVID-19 vaccine, she wrote: “Im Grateful that I can be a part of supporting Research to Find the cure for Covid -19!!
“And just to clear things up for people who would rather believe sensationalist headlines than do their own research about the nature of this virus— I am not currently sick.
“When you test positive for anti-bodies it means you HAD the virus which I. clearly did as I was sick at the end of my tour in Paris over 7 weeks ago along with many other artists in my show but at the time.”
The singer made a quarantine diary last week where she claimed she had COVID-19 antibodies.
She continued: “We all thought we had a very bad flu. Thank God we are all healthy and well now. Hope that clears things up for the band wagon jumpers!! Knowledge is Power! #covid19”
She said she had been “tested” and found out she is resistant to the deadly bug.
She said: “Took a test the other day and I found out I have the antibodies. So tomorrow I am going to go for a long drive and roll down the window and I’m going to breathe in the COVID air. I hope the sun is shining.”
The international star was later slammed by daytime talk show host Wendy Williams who urged the 61-year-old pop icon to “stay in the house!”

Her remarks follow Madonna attending her friend’s birthday party and even bringing a cake.
Wendy said: “About Madonna…I’m just finding that celebrities are really passing the wrong message on to everybody.”
Wendy went on: “It is unclear, according to our health people and our politicians, whether the antibody makes you immune to corona.”
Madonna stopped by friend and photographer Steven Klein’s birthday with several of his other friends.

Madonna is dating 27-year-old hunk Ahlamalik Williams and only went public with her boyfriend late last year, but it’s been rumored that they’ve been together for well over two years now.
The couple has been spotted in multiple outings, family vacations, and he’s been a great shoulder for Madonna to lean in while she had to cancel some of her concerts due to her health.
