Covid-19: Ecuador releases stats of pandemic-related military operations

Ecuador has deployed more than 33,000 military personnel throughout the country in response to the novel coronavirus pandemic, according to recently released statistics.

The number includes 2,430 personnel assigned to joint task force “Guayas”, named after the province it deployed to,
