We divided 64 players into four eras - The Herzog era (1969-1980), the Howser era (1981-1994), the Muser era (1995-2010), and the Yost era (2011-2019) to determine who is the most beloved player in Royals history.

You can see how the last round of voting went here. George Brett, champion of the Herzog era bracket, topped Frank White, champion of the Howser era bracket with 83 percent of the vote. Alex Gordon, winner of the Ned Yost era bracket, took 76 percent against Mike Sweeney, who won the Muser era bracket.
