Rotary Watches reopens distribution centre
Rotary Watches announced that it has reopened its distribution centre for a three-week period in order to service its retail partners and online orders.
The centre has been open since the week commencing 4 May, and its continued operations will be reviewed at the end of the three-week period in line with government advice.
The timepiece group said that it was implementing strict health and safety measures that follow the government’s workplace guidelines to ensure the health and safety of its teams.
Pauline Chan, vice president of Rotary Watches Ltd, said: “We continue to prioritise the health and safety of our employees, retail partners and customers.
“With this in mind, myself and the Rotary Watches team have been busily working away ‘remotely’ behind the scenes and after a very careful decision process, we have decided to reopen our distribution centre for a three-week period.”
She added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank each member of the team for their dedication and resilience during this unprecedented time and I look forward to building a bright future together.”
The service and repair centre will remain closed until further notice, but the group will “endeavour to fulfil all retail partner and online orders as soon as possible”.
It warned there may be a slight delay to deliveries, and said it is not accepting online returns until normal operations resume.
Key head office functions will still operate remotely which will allow communication to remain open.
Chan added: “We ask for your patience during this unprecedented time, we are endeavouring to provide support and answer all emails and queries as quickly as possible.
“We will continuously review the situation and publish updates so please do keep in contact via our website and social channels. We thank you for your continued support and we cannot wait to see you again soon. Be positive and stay safe.”
