EE launches two big data SIM deals – half-price for the first three months
EE recently launched one of the biggest SIM-only deals on the market at 100GB for £20 a month.
The time-limited offer ended earlier this week, but the provider has just launched some new big value offers.

There are two new offers, and both are ‘EE Essential plans’ – meaning they include unlimited texts, minutes and roaming across Europe.
And they represent some of the best prices we have ever seen from the mobile network.
So, if you’re after 50GB or 100GB monthly data from your next SIM-only deal, they’re worth considering.
And you can expect to pay half-price monthly payments for the first three months – significantly cutting your outgoings.

The key question for the deals is ‘do they represent good value?’.
To answer, especially for service on a big network like EE, we ‘d say yes. Here’s what each will cost you.
The 50GB contract will cost you £20 a month, except for the first three months where you would be paying £10.
With three months of outstanding value added to solid pricing for the rest of the contract, the total cost is £330 over 18 months.
That works out at £330 total cost, or around £18 a month – a good price for the data.
The 100GB offer is even better value: it costs £25 a month, but £12.50 for the first three.
Its total cost is £412.50, with an average monthly cost of £23 a month over the 18 months.
EE’s recent offer of 100GB for £20 a month clearly beats it, but £23 is still very good value from the network.

Smarty’s 1-month rolling Unlimited plan is another option to consider at £20 a month.
Alternatively, Three is currently offering Unlimited data for just £18 a month among some other tempting deals.
