- Elon Musk and Grimes have had their first child together, and the world is confused by the baby's supposed name.
- When someone on Twitter asked on Monday what the couple named their son, Musk tweeted, "X Æ A-12 Musk."
- Musk is known for posting jokes and memes on Twitter, and many speculated it was another joke. Others guessed that the string of characters he tweeted was actually a riddle.
- On Tuesday night, Grimes tweeted a breakdown of what each character means: X is the "unknown variable," Æ is her "elven spelling of Ai," and A-12 is a type of CIA aircraft known internally as Archangel.
- Late Wednesday, Grimes clarified in an Instagram comment, writing: "It's just X, like the letter X. Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I."
- Now, we finally have a pronunciation, straight from Musk himself: X Ash Archangel, Musk said on Thursday on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.
