But she confessed that the pair love to give each other rub downs at the £750,000 pad their share in a well-heeled suburb of Manchester.
And that Alan – who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs in the show – is a dad hand with massage oil as well as engine oil.
She mentioned in a YouTube video that Alan’s magic fingers were helping ease a back problem and added: “Poor Alan gets roped into this all the time. I love being massaged and so does Al.”
Tisha – who played Steph Britton in the soap, talked about her love of booze – and that Alan had educated her about the world of gin.

Tisha uploaded a video to YouTube where she spoke about how she has been coping with the lockdown[/caption]
The 26-year-old explained: “Now I love gin, I love prosecco, I love red wine, I really love red wine and I’m really into red wine and I love trying loads of different things out, I have loads of apps that tell me about red wine so I’m quite up on wine, but when it comes to gin I don’t really know much about it.
“It’s only since I’ve met Alan that he’s educated me on what could go with what, and I’ve come to realise that my favourite sort of gin is the dry gin. Gin has been a firm favourite of this month.”
The former soap star stressed how good the beverage makes her feel and doesn’t have a bad word to say about it, adding: “It’s something that I look forward to the weekends, something that me and Al love to drink together and it just makes me feel great. I just love gin.
“I’m not the sort of person who gets emotional after gin. I’ve never had a bad experience with gin.”

Alan and Tisha have been using Zoom to stay in contact with the family[/caption]
But she said she wasn’t a fan of flavoured varieties and claimed they “didn’t have enough alcohol.”
And she said she and Alan and his daughter Sienna had been enjoying quizzes on Zoom several times a week with relatives and pals.
The conference call app has become very popular during the lockdown period, as it allowed people to stay in contact with their loved ones.
Coronation Street will reference the coronavirus in upcoming episodes, show boss Iain MacLeod has revealed.
However, he promised the deadly bug’s inclusion on the cobbles will not dominate the ITV soap as fans tune in for escapism.
