What happened in Brassic season one?
THE second season of Brassic is set to hit our screens tonight, May 7, after the first season proved to be a huge success for Sky.
Before the beginning of the second season, here is everything you need to know about series one.
What happened in Brassic season one?
In season one, viewers were introduced to Vinnie and his friends, Dylan, Cardi , Ash and Tommo, who live in the northern town of Hawley.
To make ends meet, the group engage in various crimes and get up to all sorts of illegal activities.
Some of the friends begin to wonder what a normal life will look like and face difficult decisions about the future.
Vinnie gets into some major trouble when a car he steals contains antiques belonging to hard man Terrence McCann.
Terrence, who needs his property back, threatens Vinnie with violence.
Under pressure, Vinnie hatches a plan to fake his own death in order to get Terrence off his back.
At Vinnie’s fake funeral everyone seems to have fallen for his scheme.
In the closing moments of the season one, it is revealed that one person never bought into the story of Vinnie’s death – Terrence McCann.
Vinnie receives a phone call Terrence who clearly is still out to get him.
Also, there is a love triangle between one of the gang members Dylan, his love interest, Erin, (played by Michelle Keegan), and Jake, who proposed to her.
This makes way for what is set to be an explosive second season.
What will happen in Brassic Season two?

Fans will get to catch up with Vinnie and how he has been avoiding the wrath and capture of Terrence since season one.
According to Sky: “In the first episode, Vinnie has been hiding out in his weed shed since faking his own death to escape from local gangster Terrence McCan.
“Tommo and Erin need his help and try to lure him out of hiding with a new business proposition and together with the lads they plot to rob a travelling circus.
“With the help of a disgruntled clown, Mr Popov, played by John Thomson, the gang aim to make this theft a ‘roaring’ success…”
From the sound of the synopsis, there is clearly more comedy-filled drama ahead this season.

When is Brassic next on?
The show airs on Thursdays at 10pm on Sky One, starting on May 7.
Fans who cannot wait to catch new episodes will be pleased that all season two episodes will be available at once on streaming service, Now TV.
Like the first season, the new series will contain six episodes.
