Inside Katie Price’s chic new kitchen as she makes a chocolate cake with Harvey for VE Day
KATIE Price is making the most of her chic new kitchen by baking a chocolate cake for VE Day with her son Harvey.
The star, 41, and her eldest child, 17, worked together to make the tasty treat to honour those who helped defeat the Nazis in Europe in the Second World War.
In an exclusive video, Katie can be seen asking Harvey: “Are you eating that cake before I’ve even done anything?”
Standing in front of ingredients set out on the kitchen’s island, Harvey replied: “No.”
He then gave his mum, who was wearing a sequinned American football jersey, a kiss on the cheek because he liked the cake.
Mum-of-five Katie vowed to come out of lockdown stronger than ever.
The Sun Online revealed how she has told friends that the past few weeks have allowed her to take stock of what’s really important to her.

And it has also helped bring her even closer to her children, who Katie has posted pictures of standing alongside her on social media in recent days.
Yesterday a pal close to the star said: “Katie has had a really difficult year.
“She’s gone through a relationship breakdown, bankruptcy and money problems and still has the threat of losing her home hanging over her head.
“But the last few weeks have been a chance for Katie to take stock of what matters and what’s important.

“She has had a lot of time to think and to spend precious days with the children and just enjoy being a mum again. She’s also been eating right and living right so feels clear headed and healthy.
“Katie also has a clear idea in mind of how she will bounce back.
“She’s been written off so many times and doesn’t care. She is convinced she will get back the money she has lost and find happiness.”
A representative for Katie told The Sun Online: “Katie is going great guns – once lockdown is over people will really see first hand the changes in Katie, she is embracing a whole new lease on life.
“We are deeply proud of Katie and thank everyone who’s been there rooting and supporting her through what has been a very challenging time.”
Details of Katie’s vow to bounce back come in the wake of her appearing on Channel Four show SAS Who Dares Wins.
On it she was seen tearfully admitting her recent struggles.

But, as we revealed last week on Sun Online, Katie now plans to use those experiences to try and help others by launching a nationwide speaking tour.
“Katie’s been through a hell of a journey this year,” the source added.
“She’s learned a lot, has developed an incredibly thick skin and is determined to help others who are ever tempted to throw in the towel and give up.”
