I would imagine Germany to be far less densely populated, ie people per sq km so your not always comparing apples with apples. Glad they are getting the Footy back on though
You could certainly argue that places like London, New York etc are always likely to spread the virus quicker due to the amount of people that are there, mixing in offices, public transport etc. However Germany has some pretty big cities too so I wouldn't have expected the difference overall to be that much different. Not surprised Spain's figures were quite high as the greeting involving kissing is not great in terms of social distancing and you also have lots of families where 3 generations will live in the same house, much more family orientated than England.
