Henderson Named Player of the Year as Liverpool Dominate Awards

The first set of awards for the 2019-20 season are out care of the BBC, with Liverpool well represented. With the BBC announcing their 2019-20 Premier League awards today, it’s no surprise Liverpool are well represented, as Jordan Henderson headlines the day by taking overall player of the season honours for captaining the Reds 25 points clear of the competition.
He’s joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold, named young player of the year, and in the team of the season as the duo are amongst seven Liverpool stars chosen along with one Leicester City player, one player from Manchester United, and a pair from Manchester City.
