Parks and Rec Characters Sorted Into Their Game Of Thrones Houses

0

Parks and Recreation became a smash-success on NBC due to its hilarious ensemble of characters throughout the iconic work-place comedy. Whether it's the determined Leslie Knope or the gothic April Ludgate, each character makes us laugh out loud with their outlandish actions and hilarious one-liners. Their personalities are so animated and significant, that we think they would all fit well into the various houses throughout Westeros.

With that being said, which Game of Thrones houses would our favorite Parks and Rec characters fit best in? Who belongs in House Lannister? Who belongs in House Targaryen? Keep reading to find out!

10 LESLIE KNOPE - HOUSE TARGARYEN

If Leslie is anything, she's a fighter. This woman will stop at nothing until she is at the very top and she definitely has that Targaryen "all or nothing" mentality.

Everyone can't help but admire and respect her work ethic, even the people who aren't super thrilled to work for the Parks and Rec department *cough cough April cough cough Ron.* She has Daenerys Targaryen's strength and bravery, so we believe she would do best in this house.

9 ANDY DWYER - HOUSE MORMONT

House Mormont may not be the smartest house. They may not be the strongest house. But they are, without a doubt, the most loyal house. These people of Bear Island will move mountains for the ones they love most and will stick by their side no matter what.

Andy is as loyal and committed to the people he works with who he considers family. If you can count on anyone, it's Andy. And that's the Mormont way!

8 APRIL LUDGATE - HOUSE BOLTON

Let's be honest. If April herself watched Game of Thrones, (which Ben Wyatt probably made her binge back when they were roommates), she would most definitely appreciate House Bolton the most.

April is drawn to all things dark, which is why she would probably favor the bad guys on Game of Thrones. Her best friend Orin would certainly do the best in this house as well. Any opportunity to wreak havoc, (or should we say Reek havoc in Ramsay's case,) would be preferable for April. We gotta love her for that evil spunk!

7 BEN WYATT - HOUSE TULLY

Ben is a quiet, gentle soul who we can't help but adore on Parks and Rec. He is comfortable enough to be a supporting husband to his wife where she is the breadwinner of the family.

Ben is extremely loyal to Leslie and all those around him (even Jerry.) House Tully is all about serenity, duty, and family. This perfectly describes Ben Wyatt. (He's also a huge Thrones nerd himself!)

6 TOM HAVERFORD - HOUSE GREYJOY

Amy Poehler has stated that if Tom was to be any character on Game of Thrones, it would be Theon Greyjoy. This makes a lot of sense. Tom is one of those characters that is complex because he exudes both positive and negative traits.

At times, we reprimand his character's actions while at other moments he is able to redeem himself. He plays a complex individual, just like most of the members of the Greyjoy family.

5 RON SWANSON - HOUSE BARATHEON

Ron Swanson would definitely thrive most in House Baratheon. He is the type of person who needs to do things his own way. If things don't go according to his plan, Ron will react with anger.

He has a short temper, that's for certain, and that's what House Baratheon is all about. Ron is the type of person who tells it like it is, and if that's not the Baratheon way, we don't know what is!

4 ANN PERKINS - HOUSE STARK

Ann is one of the most good-hearted characters on the show, and every move she makes is done with the intention of making the world a better place.

She is a simple individual who doesn't need popularity or materialistic riches in order to feel fulfilled. She values the people in her life more-so than anything else which makes her a total Stark.

3 JERRY - HOUSE MORMONT

Jerry is one of the kindest, most loyal characters on Parks and Recreation. Despite the fact that all the characters love to treat him as the workplace punching bag, Jerry/Garry/Larry takes all of their cruel jokes with stride.

He knows his worth and is willing to be the butt of the joke if it means making other people happy. House Mormont is all about putting other people's needs before their own, which is just what Jerry does.

2 CHRIS TRAEGER - HOUSE LANNISTER

Chris Traeger is all about taking care of himself and presenting himself in the best possible light. He makes sure to exercise and eat the healthiest foods so he can look his best and feel his best.

Some people might classify him as vain or self-obsessed, but this is actually far from true. Chris is a good person who happens to indulge in self-care. He is regal, captivating, and knows how to charm people's socks off. Sounds like a Lannister to us!

1 JOHN RALPHIO - HOUSE GREYJOY

Similar to his buddy Tom Haverford, John Ralphio would do best in House Greyjoy. This house likes to play by their own set of rules and they refuse to conform to societal standards just because it's what's considered appropriate.

Like Jon, The Greyjoys are visionaries who march to the beat of their own drum. Sometimes they can come across as aimless and irritating, but still, we can't help but be fascinated by their every move.
