Gold futures settle higher after 2-session decline
Gold futures settled higher on Thursday after posting losses in the past two sessions. Prices got a boost as another significant rise in U.S. weekly jobless claims fed concerns over the economy. June gold rose $37.30, or 2.2%, to settle at $1,725.80 an ounce.
