UFC 249 prop bets include who will bleed first between Tony Ferguson, Justin Gaethje, will ‘Conor’ or ‘Khabib’ be called out
UFC fights are back and that means plenty of wacky wagers can now be made.
Betting site SportsBetting.ag has provided a list of prop bets for this Saturday’s UFC 249 show at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla., offering odds on outcomes ranging from who will be the first to bleed in the main event between Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje to whether Bruce Buffer will don a COVID-19 mask while performing his ring announcing duties.
Oddsmakers are also taking action on whether Khabib Nurmagomedov or Conor McGregor are mentioned during post-fight interviews. Currently, it is expected that the Gaethje-Ferguson winner will mention “Khabib” after their fight, with 2-to-1 odds in favor of that happening. It’s worth noting that Ferguson and Gaethje only briefly addressed Nurmagomedov at Tuesday’s media conference call and otherwise deflected the majority of questions concerning the UFC lightweight champion.
Pettis or Cerrone uttering the words “Conor” or “McGregor” after their fight isn’t seen as being as likely, with “No” sitting at -220.
UFC 249 will be available for purchase on pay-per-view exclusively through ESPN+. In the main event, Ferguson and Gaethje fight for an interim lightweight belt, while the co-main event sees Henry Cejudo defending his bantamweight championship against Dominick Cruz.
