Trump doubles down on Joe Scarborough murder conspiracy after dead woman’s family begged him to stop
DONALD Trump doubled down on his unproven murder conspiracy about Joe Scarborough after the dead woman’s distraught family begged him to stop.
The President said Lori Klausutis’ death in 2001 was “very sad and very suspicious” after repeatedly tweeting about Scarborough on Tuesday morning.
His comments came after the dead woman’s widower Timothy Klausutis sent a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey begging him to take down Trump’s Twitter accusations about her death.
“I hope somebody gets to the bottom of it,” Trump told reporters after his Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany defended his revival of the conspiracy.
Earlier, he had defended his decision to make insinuations the MSNBC host’s involvement in Klausutis’ death, after she passed away in his Florida congressional office back in 2001.
“The opening of a Cold Case against Psycho Joe Scarborough was not a Donald Trump original thought, this has been going on for years, long before I joined the chorus,” Trump wrote earlier this morning.
“In 2016 when Joe & his wacky future ex-wife, Mika, would endlessly interview me, I would always be thinking about whether or not Joe could have done such a horrible thing?
“Maybe or maybe not, but I find Joe to be a total Nut Job, and I knew him well, far better than most.
“So many unanswered & obvious questions, but I won’t bring them up now! Law enforcement eventually will?”
