Spoilt daddy’s girl, 19, breaks down in tears as she’s attacked by a druggie & forced to beg in Rich Kids Go Homeless
A RICH kid who grew up in a mansion with a live-in nanny and a pet pony got a dose of reality when she was forced to live on the streets for three nights.
Self-confessed Daddy’s Girl Kaya, 19, who works as a model, broke down in tears on her first night as she had to beg and a man tried to approach her as she slept rough.

Kaya took part in Channel 5’s Rich Kids Go Homeless, where she swapped the catwalk for the sidewalk in inner city London.
Image-conscious Kaya, who owns a £2,000 Louis Vuitton bag and £700 diamond bracelet, admitted that she would find it a challenge on the streets, and said: “I just like to look a certain way and 100 per cent pristine.
“My dad is an entrepreneur and like a businessman so that meant growing up as an only child I lived in a big house, I went to private school, I had a pony, I had piano lessons and kind of whatever I wanted in my wardrobe.”
Speaking ahead of the experience, Kaya said: “I’m scared of homeless people. I think they are really dirty.

“I believe that where you end up is a consequence of your own choices. I think begging is degrading.
“I don’t judge them but personally it is not something I would really want to do as I think it’s embarrassing.
“I think homeless people have just got too used to being homeless which is why they stay that way. Get comfortable maybe.”
Daddy’s Girl Kaya, who admitted she has been “spoilt” initially felt confident with taking on the social experiment.
She said she aimed to never actually spend a night on the streets, and would try to raise money through piano playing, or asking for a job in shops – and her last resort, begging.

The privileged teen, who regularly holidays in Dubai and Barbados, added: “The closest thing I’ve done to this is Reading Festival, and I went home.”
The Channel 5 experiment started badly for Kaya, who was immediately irritated with the warm hat she was provided for the experience.
She said: “My hat is really itchy, I think it’s going to give me spots. I’m feeling very nervous and anxious. I feel sick.”
Kaya was forced to eat her words about begging, after she realised it could be an easy way to make money when she got £2 off someone soon after she hit the streets.
However, she soon felt dejected after it proved harder than she thought.

She said: “Talking to people is not working at the moment. Rejection is something I’m used to, usually when I ask for something I get it. People telling me no is unusual.”
Although she managed to get £40 off a kind man, she was unable to find a hotel in the Charing Cross area for the money she had.
Resigning herself to a night on the streets, she said: “At home I have a huge king bed and this is just a cold hard floor.
“I think right now is the most vulnerable I’ve felt all night. I don’t feel safe.”
And she soon had a real cause for concern after a man who appeared to be on the synthetic drug Spice approached Kaya in a threatening manner and refused to leave.

The TV crew was forced to step in, and Kaya broke down in tears at the situation.
She said: “He was definitely high. He could have pulled out a knife you just never know.”
The next day things went from bad to worse after Kaya located a £15 hostel, but was turned away as she needed ID.
Once again she broke down in tears, and said: “I’ve spent all day trying to get here. I just don’t know where to go.”

Thankfully things took a turn for positive when she befriended homeless man Tips, who showed her where she could sleep safely on the streets – and he even gave her a magazine to keep her occupied.
To thank him, Kaya raised over £20 begging and decided to buy him a present of a camping portable pillow and hand warmers.
But the kind gesture doesn’t go down well with drug-addicted Tips, who appreciated the thought but said he had no use for the items.
The Rich Kid was left in tears once more, with her saying: “I thought it would make him happy but all he cares about is the drugs.”
The pair later bond over trying to raise money with her playing the piano and him rapping.
At the end of the experience, Kaya admitted she had been changed by her time on the streets.

She said: “I feel like a completely different person. I feel like I’m not part of society. It’s really hard out here, lonely.
“I definitely had all these misconceptions of homeless people. I never want to be in the position again.
“I definitely feel different, I can empathise now. I definitely appreciate what I have more now.”
It was revealed at the end of the show she had tried unsuccessfully to get back in touch with Tips, but she is now volunteering at a homeless shelter in Camden.
