Thrifty mum saves money on getting her kids a sprinkler and uses the shower head instead
A MUM has shared her brilliant tip for adding a sprinkler in the garden when you can’t afford one, and all you need is a shower head.
With the weather warming up Brits are dragging out their paddling pools and hose pipes, but if you don’t have an outside tap one mum revealed she uses her shower instead.
She shared a snap of her shower sticking out of the window, which she switches on to create a sprinkler for the kids.
Sharing her idea to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she said: “When you got a downstairs bath and you always hated it being downstairs but it came in handy in the end…
“Game changer when you can’t afford a sprinkler for kids.”
Her thrifty tip has gone down a storm online, with more than 8,000 people liking her idea – hailing her a ‘genius’.
