Gas leak closes intersection of 161 and Cleveland Ave

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Columbus Police closed intersection of State Route 161 and Cleveland Avenue due to a gas leak Wednesday.

Columbus Police says the gas leak started around 11:18 a.m. when a contractor hit a main gas while working. The intersection of East Dublin-Granville Road and Cleveland Avenue is closed while crews work to get it under control.

There are no injuries reported at this time
