[GV] Weissenburger Joins Viking Men's Golf & Football

Des Moines, IA - Grand View men's golf is excited to announce the commitment of Tommy Weissenburger. The Des Moines Christian High School native will be a two-sport athlete for Grand View also taking part in the football program as a kicker. 

Weissenburger guided his team to the 2019 conference title while also winning individually overall. Following the conference tournament, he was selected onto the 2019 All-Conference Team. 

Head Coach Chris Winkel is very happy Weissenburger will be joining the Viking family come fall, "I am thrilled to have Tommy join our golf program. He is a tremendous player and will bring a lot of talent and drive to our program. I look for great things from him in the next four years," said Winkel.
