[Men's Tennis] Three Bees named to all-academic men's tennis team
CHICAGO --- A total of 31 individuals have been named to the 2020 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis All-Academic Team, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Gaining the most selections was Olivet Nazarene University with six recipients, followed by Cardinal Stritch University, Holy Cross College and University of St. Francis with four representatives each. Earning three spots were Indiana University South Bend, Judson University, Roosevelt University and St. Ambrose University, while Indiana University Northwest placed one individual on the team.
The three Bees named to the team were Jose Anchundia, Gonzalo Pereira and Matt Zuccato.
Of the 31 recipients, 13 were repeat selections.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
