Ceferin suggests French league finish was premature
June 18 – UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has commented for the first time publicly on the decision to shut down French football while every other major league is restarting.
Last month the French Football Federation (FFF) wrote to UEFA to justify the premature termination of its competitions and make sure their clubs are not penalised.
French federation chief Noël Le Graët reportedly wrote specifically to Ceferin saying France had no option but to cease playing because of the government mandate forbidding sports events,
