How to Unlock The Customizable Glider (Build-A-Brella) in Fortnite Season 3
Every season of Fortnite adds brand new cosmetic items for players to use and customize their character. These customization options have allowed many to show them off as a level of status in the game, whether they purchased the cosmetic items or played the game long enough to unlock them from the battle pass. Some seasons even give players completely customizable cosmetic items, like when season two allowed players to create their own agent.
The newest addition this season is the "Build-a-Brella" cosmetic item. This item replaces the player's glider and can be customized with different colors and pieces for players to make it their very own. There are dozens of different options that players will have at their disposal. This guide will show players how to unlock the umbrella and how to customize it.
Players will not unlock this umbrella automatically once they start up playing the new season. Instead they will first need to purchase the new season's battle pass and work on leveling it up. Once players reach level 5 of the battle pass, they will be given access to this new cosmetic item. Players will then be able to customize it however they wish.
Once the players have acquired the Build-a-Brella its a very simple matter to begin customizing it. Players will need to move over the battle pass menu on the home screen and click on the right-hand part of the screen where it says Build-a-Brella. Then the player will be able to customize their new umbrella in new and interesting ways. There are ten different customizable slots on the umbrella that players will be able to change.
Players will then need to unlock all of the customizable pieces by completing more aspects of the battle pass. By leveling up, players will unlock new colors, toppers, and umbrella shafts. There are also special colors that players can only unlock by completing special challenges that will be offered throughout this new season. Players should complete these challenges to collect as many as they absolutely can. There are also tons of new cosmetic items and features for players to check out with the brand new season, so players should hop on and play as soon as possible.
