‘Enough is enough.’ People gather where 20-month-boy was killed as Chicago experiences one of its worst stretches of violence against children.
Leaning on his wife, a tearful Thomas Gaston stood among dozens of people gathered for a vigil at the spot where his 20-month-old son was shot dead days ago in Englewood. “I used to be a bad person,” he confessed to the crowd. But his son Sincere “changed me tremendously. Only thing I do is take care of my kids and my wife, I don’t live no life of crime.”
