90 Day Fiancé: Tim Clarkson Has Emotional Support Cat Named Pepi
Episode 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way not only introduced audiences to Tim Clarkson and his Colombian girlfriend, Melyza Zeta — it also introduced Pepi, Clarkson's emotional support cat. Viewers got to know that Tim is leaving his life behind in Texas and moving to Colombia to live with Melyza. While explaining his life in Dallas, he revealed that he lives with his cat named Pepi.
The 90 Day Fiancé episode revealed personal details about 34-year-old Tim: he was born in Iowa, grew up in Alabama, and then moved to Texas, where he met his lady-love Zeta. While giving a personal introduction, he disclosed that after completing his high school, his life was derailed for a while - Clarkson was even arrested for breaking and entering vehicles. Consequently, he spent 28 days in jail and got three years of probation. According to the reports, he was first arrested for a DUI and was detained for a few hours; however, he pled guilty and was made to pay a fine and complete Drunk Driving School certificate program at Kirkwood Community College. Currently, it's unclear if Melyza is aware of his past or not - regardless, it will be interesting to watch his couple together, especially because of Tim and his amusing behavior.
In episode 5, Clarkson also revealed that he has an emotional support cat named Pepi. It is possible that after such awful events early on in his life, Tim deals with anxiety or some other psychological issue. That is why he likes to keep a companion who would help him reduce stress. Viewers watch him buy supplies for his cat in a pet supply store. Tim seems very close to Pepi and said that it accompanies him wherever he goes. While video calling his girlfriend, he said that Pepi would be coming with him to Colombia. However, the pet supply owner doesn't think it's a good idea.
Still, Melyza was excited to meet Tim's furry little best friend Pepi, and viewers no doubt want to see more of this little cast member. It was brave of Clarkson to acknowledge having an emotional support animal on reality TV; while there have been shocking confessions on 90 Day Fiancé before, none have dealt with mental health and past difficulties quite like Clarkson's story. Viewers are undoubtably curious to know more about Tim's past because there's certainly a lot more to it than meets the eye.
It was unclear if this couple would make it onto the series because Tim had cheated on Melyza, which many would assume would have led to a falling out between them. But, it would appear that Tim is genuinely trying to make the relationship work with his 29-year-old girlfriend. Viewers will have to wait and see what happens when he finally lands in Colombia.
